Your business phone number is one of the first solid impressions clients have of you. In any case, it is the only part of your ad that they’ll try hard to remember. What the number says of your business is imperative. A regular number will be hard to recall unlike a smartnumber that leaves a lasting impression on the customer. What these numbers do is establish a witty or memorable association with the business as well as bring the competition to another level.

Smartnumbers, or phone words, took off sometime towards the end of 2004 and this market expanded rapidly as a result of two key issues being resolved.
