Forbes Best Small Business Blogs
Linda went on vacation today so she hasn't seen it yet, but Small Business Brief has been included in Forbes' Best of the Web list of small business blogs.
Way to go Linda!! :abovehead

Not only that, but our very own Anita Campbell has been chosen as a Best of the Web pick for her Small Business Trends blog!! Great job Anita. :abovehead :balloons:

Small Business Brief Blog in Forbes
I just wanted to make sure this news received the attention it deserves, so I am creating a separate thread for it:

Congratulations to Robert and Linda and the rest of the crew at Small Business Brief, the companion blog to these forums!!! You are a pick by Forbes for Small Business Blogs! :abovehead

Editor Linda Kiley publishes scores of links to the most helpful small-business related articles across the Web. The result is an exceedingly practical blog, offering primers for upstarts on how to....

My, am I fortunate to have a forum over here. It's a happen' place!

(NOTE: I merged the two threads about this topic.)

Linda deserves all the credit - even though Forbes got her name wrong. :looney: (Her last name is Riley) She's off for a few day but I called her to let her know and to read the review.

One thing I forgot to mention that makes it all the more remarkable is Linda was just introduced to the online world last summer. She knew nothing of HTML, blogs, forums, etc. She is such a great example of how hard work and perseverance can pay off.

Congratulations to Linda Riley with an "R"
That's amazing, Linda, that you knew nothing about blogs before last year. It makes your accomplishment all the more remarkable. You are a fast learner. You done good, kid!

(I'm sure you had great guidance, too, by someone who is being very modest about taking credit in his own right.)

Great stuff, but ...
:balloons: I visited Forbes for a read, and they've missed the most important bit: Any member's question gets an answer!

They could ask for testimonials from members but i guess that would take too much of their time. :)

Congratulations Linda & Anita! It is rare that business people get a great recognition like that, and especially small-business people! You are on your way to the "BIG small-business" level you were talking about!

Rock on,

Linda 29th July 2005 06:07 PM

I just wanted to thank everyone for their kind words. I really don't feel I deserve it, I am basically learning as I go. I especially thank you Anita and congratulations to you as well, it is an honor to be sitting next to you.

Linda :)
