Tips For Increasing E-Commerce Sales

Hi everyone! In the past few months we've had a ton of success with our online store, but we recently set a new goal for the end of the year, and I wanted to get some advice on reaching it.

What are some tips/best practices/software/services you've used to increase E-commerce sales? I'm looking for anything and everything- Whatever you think could help.

A few things we're already doing- Using live chat, following up with users who register and/or abandon shopping carts. We've optimized the checkout process to make it easier to navigate/more enticing.

So besides the stuff I mentioned above, does anyone have any ideas?

What types of advertising are you doing and is your website optimized for mobile?

Here are few tips to be more engaging & visual to improve on your e-commerce sales. Quality images, adding product videos, clear call-to-action buttons & creation of thank you page are helpful in influencing the decisions of your customers.

Product videos is a great idea (although can be expensive to produce). I'm curious- How can a creation page help influence a customer's decisions? Presumably they would see the thank you page after the decision is made, right?

It will be more helpful for us to provide suggestions if you have shared the types of marketing activities you are doing.

As per my experience in web security industry, having EV SSL (green bar) and site-seal from reputed certificate authority can improve customer's trust in your brand that can improve ROI (proven).

Just like in an offline store people love deals. You could create little free shipping over $XX coupons and submit them to retailmenot.com

We sell custom printed envelopes. The website is http://precisionenvelope.com/. The site is pretty new but we've started seeing alot of positive things in the past few months. But we want to make sure that we continue to move forward. Our market is mostly small business owners, churches and non profits. We rarely sell envelopes to consumers.

First, you need to analyse your website like from which page your customers leaving your website and why. There must be proper navigation and secure payment gateway. You can list your products in google merchant where google will show your products in search results apart from ads also.
