Hi

I am new to the site and actually cannot find the edit signature tab in My Settings. Has it been moved somewhere else ?

Cheers

Hi mjaffrin. We recently made some changes so that is not available until you've posted a few times. We'll update our instructions to make a note of it to reduce confusion.

Welcome aboard :standingw

Yes, please change this "how to" thread as it's not correct any longer.

I spent the last 5 minutes looking for "edit signature" buttons.

The instructions in the thread are still correct. There is/was a note at the top of the instructions post noting that new members won't be able to set up a sig file until they've made a few posts:

"NOTE: The ability to create a signature file will only be available after a new member has made a few posts."

I've made the note much more noticeable so it shouldn't be missed now.

I apologize for the frustration this caused.

I couldn't figure this out right away either. But it all makes sense now. It seems they do this to filter out people just joining the forums for a quick backlink.

When I post new reply Same problem finding. There is no any option of edit signature. I was already tried for editing signature.
