That makes sense. For example I have a bachelors in Business Administration with an Emphasis in Marketing. you typically get a general business degree, and then select a particular emphasis. Those who want to become CPAs select an emphasis in accounting for example. But that doesn't mean you won't take accounting classes if your emphasis is in marketing, just not as many.
