Default New Monthly Subscription Business- Tips On Finding New Customers.

Hi Everyone,

I just launched a new business, a monthly subscription club base on being stress free, because honestly- who doesn't love being stress free?

I am looking for some advice on some low cost/no cost ways to get the word out beyond my network.

I also am open to any website feedback. The site is very simple.
Thank you for your help and support!

Your forwarding that domain it appears. If you gave me your original link (the one you posted) livestressfreeclub.com and I landed there on the Bath Bomb Site, you've lost my trust from the get go. Big no no for eCommerce.

Great products. I'd drop the special Elite', cursive font. Way too hard on the eyes for using it for all of your content <p>'s. Cheers!

Yes, the spammy redirect is definitely a distrust trigger - so don't use that in your campaigns.

Now, about the site:

- I'd definitely remove the menu on the left, make the page full-screen, and crate a "sticky" menu on top of the page (like the menu on mobile resolutions).

- I think your copy could use a lot of improvement, because you're not leading continuing and closing with the biggest benefits of your "bombs" (why is it a bomb anyway? will it explode in my bath?)

-I think, especially in the beginning, you're focusing too much on delivery, pricing, recurring orders while you should be impressing me with stuff that will convince me this is the best damn soap that ever happened to my body.

All in all, with a sales page like this, you're probably leaving a lot of money on the table - unless the audience you're bringing to the page is already eagerly looking for the ORDER NOW button (with open wallets in their hands).

What you need is a direct response copywriter - and if you're unable to afford one, you better start reading the books (but you're looking at a pretty steep learning curve).

P.S.: Sorry, for not sugarcoating my response...but I think blunt honesty will help you the most in the long run.

I didn't get past the redirect, so I didn't see the website. But as far as promoting it, I would suggest a related giveaway digital information product with a link back to your website at the end. If the copy was rewarding to the reader, they just might be back looking for more.

I like the simplicity. The points made above are good. I'll add a couple of more thoughts to that. The redirect isn't bad if it's a common redirect (e.g. coke.com vs. coca-cola.com) but the complete change in URL is not only bad for trust but bad for branding and may have an SEO impact by spreading things around unnecessarily.)

Also, when you post your URL, make it a link. Not only makes things easier for us, but more importantly, it means the search engines can pick them up.

- There's an extra bullet on the one month subscription. Looks unfinished.
- Line up the boxes on bath bombs and bath fizzies. Looks off otherwise. Builds on that unfinished part. I also agree that I'm not sure "bomb" is a good choice. Negative connotation.
- There's some sort of text behind the left sidebar that looks like it shouldn't be there. I don't think it was there when I first loaded the site but when I clicked on the logo in the upper left it showed up.
- The FAQ looks scant and somewhat random.
- Your shopify site has no call to actions. It's not clear how to buy. i need a big "buy now" button or something. Also, it's not encrypted, which gives me a security concern and is labeled "About Us". Needs to be cleaner and clearer. The actual products are much better.
- The text on the top of the main page is covered by the image.

Overall, good start. Clean and simple. I think you need to give it more of a polished view and ensure that it gets our trust from the beginning.

Hope this helps.

Dave

Have you thought about adding the words "monthly subscription". I think this would help give the customer the impression that you really want them to continue to use your product month after month.
