Of course you'll need to replace your G+ Page url in the code above and insure it's in the head section of your site's html.

I'll join the Google+ train here. I just set our up this week to start as a push page for HootSuite and the Blog but I fully intend to do some original 'Google+ only' pieces that I then push from the other sources back there..

Think about it like this. Google and Bing are arguably the 2 biggest search engines. If they're pumping cash into something there is a good chance it will benefit their other products. Just like linking Analytics to G Webmaster to Adwords, etc.. that 1 cohesive spot on the 'net that is all yours.

i cant really see any harm to making decent posts on google plus, probably works better than facebook or twitter since it probably gets crawled more regularly by google.
