A program called CCleaner has a registry cleaner that seems to work pretty well in addition to a utility to clean the C drive.

Best of all it is Free.

Run CCleaner ( originally Crap Cleaner) once a day. It clears all the cookies, unless you specify you want to keep them, it clears your cache and browser history and also clears all the odds and ends that don't fit right in your registry.

Last thing at night I run it and reboot and start the next morning fresh and cookie free.

I'm also a CC Cleaner user and it helps clean my cookies without deleting the necessary files on my registry.

be careful guys, these things can eat up a hard drive fast. Make sure you're getting reputable software
