Default Top Google Algo Changes In 2011 – An Infographic

HigherVisibility dotcom has released a rather interesting IG on the major Google algo changes in the last year.

…the significance of the updates made [in 2011] are unlike any other. In some cases, certain Algorithm changes effected up to 35% of search queries. Not to mention, these updates also introduced us into some new terms that are here to stay, like Panda & Google +.

Take a look.

That's a really nice sum up infographic. I'd just add the launch of Google Plus to the list, because imho, it caused A LOT of ranking changes and furthermore this is arguably the biggest push of Google into social, so the incorporation of Plus and the algorithm is inevitable and is already starting to be visible.

Default algorithm changes?

Hey! Thank you for sharing this info. The earlier we know about them and make the requisite changes, the better. Google+ is becoming more and more significant and the sooner we embrace it the better.

Thank you for posting this one here. It just reminds me of so many things happen last year with Google. Do guys have any theory what will happen this year? This month? It's good to hear it here. Thank in advance.

This is pretty insightful and I really like how they presented the information. I wish they would make something like this for all of Google's new products and services. It seems like every other week Google is releasing some new technology or purchasing some competitor. Google just has so much money, knowledge, resources and power it is hard for anybody to compete.

Cool as you can see all the main changes of 2011 and it is like a good way to predict some points for 2012.
