Post Creative Thinking Techniques And Business Idea Generator Tools?

Hi Everyone,

I have more than 12 years experience within the information technology (IT) industry. Recently, I have completed my MBA degree and currently I am working as an IT Consultant.

However, I have a great ambition to start my own business with a great [creative] business idea. In the last 10 months I have spent time writing down all the possible ideas (two-page list) but I had to eliminate all my ideas as they were not feasible to go ahead. I came to conclusion that my busines ideas were not creative enough.

My question to the forum members would be about best practice creative thinking tools and techniques. Does anyone out there uses any tools for generating creative ideas.

I would be delighted to hear your comments/suggestions.

Think about what sorts of things that can or should be automated in various job, businesses, workflows, etc, then think about how to provide a solution that automates it. The savings the buyer would incur is the sales hook.

Try reading Dan Miller's book 48 days to the work you love. Very good reading.
