Default Online POS Vs B&M Retail

I have a B&M and I am present online. Sales are growing online and keeping inventory up to date is brutal. Realizing that, it is critical, I would love some recommendations on POS that can do the following:
Real time inventory update
Customer follow up via email
Bar coding
...whatever other useful tools that I should know about

Presently I am using Simply accounting; we have been making it work for us for 7 years.

Thanks for you help,

Here you go - http://www.gopositive.com/

They have POS which will also work online, from a common inventory.

Through the 1990's I sold their POS software as a reseller and attended sales meetings and seminars with them. Good bunch of people, unpretentious from a college town in eastern Washington state.

Good value for the money and will do whatever it takes to make things right.

I sold and installed several dozen of their programs throughout several states and had happy customers. Can't recommend them too highly.
