Default Problem With Video Card.. Maybe You Can Help?

Installed a new card.. NVidia GeForceFX5200.. Now I cannot see my bottom taskbar.. its not that it is hidden, it isn't there. I checked all sides of the screen to se if it got moved and hidden. When I hit the start menu shorcut key on my keyboatf (the one with the windows logo) nothing happens.

Any ideas on how I can find it? I have increased the screen length and width and played with resolution settings and nada.

the best thing for you to do is this
restart your computer and restart in safe mode that way you can change the color display under
the control panel settings. you might want to try disabling the video card completely and
find out if you taskbar is still there. if none of those work what you want to do while you starting
window press f12 which usually takes you to your bios screen and there if you look you can actually
find out if your video card is running on the proper driver that happens to me all the time
when i install you stuff. if you any question just drop me a line [email protected]

Calvin, thank you for the heads up. There was driver conflict going on that I was able to address in safe mode. Everything seems to be working okay now. Again, thank for taking the time to address this problem. Your advice was spot on.
