Default Temperature Sensing Microwave

I am a design engineer with over thirty years experience but I have had other businesses.
I know how to design a microwave oven that detects temperature, never burns, heats coffee so that it doesn't loose its flavor and heats babies milk to just the right temperature.
My idea is to produce a prototype and then go into partnership with one of the big manufacturer/distributors. I would know everything there is to know about the design procedure but I have so far been unable to find the right contact inside the big manufacturers. I would like to get some advice on making contacts.
Could I be permitted to ask which forum I should be posting in?

Welcome aboard!

I think you could probably post your query in the General Small Business Issues forum, or if you want to ask for partners directly you could try the Marketplace. Your idea sounds great. Good luck!
