"Always looking to expand their hold on the online information market, Google introduced the new beta version of their Google Maps program to the public earlier this month. Users can zoom out as far as to the national level, or in close enough to see even a small cul-de-sac down the street from their chosen address."
"The thing I'm waiting for though, is the possible integration of Google's new map feature with Keyhole, a satellite based mapping system that Google acquired last fall."
Anyone else out there playing with Keyhole? I'm really impressed...it works pretty fast on my cable modem, hardly any load time required, even when scrolling around through the images. I'd love to see Google step ahead of Amazon by integrating this technology...I'm sure there are quite a few practical applications for it...any thoughts?
