Hi Tom,

Welcome to the forums.

I'm curious about how you feel about the web, and its ability to make location less important for many small to medium sized businesses.

Default My thoughts

Bill-

I think the web is like the separation between the government and the church, simililar to the debate between the big bang theory vs. God created heaven and earth...

They are all separate entities that can and do florish independently of the other. I think the web is a great place for people fortunate enough to have computers and the intellect to run them. A lot of people don't.

There will always be brick and motar buildings and there will always be eBay.

Default Thank you Michele

Hi Michele -

Thank you for the welcome. I think I'll like checking in. So far it seems like a nice place. It seems to me that we all have some pretty good ideas about business.

My goal is to help the little guy and woman that has a desire to open a brick and motar retail business. Many people sign a lease because they are ready to get started and find out later that it's not the best location.

I'm where I am in my business life because I now realize that helping is what I should be doing. I've done a few jobs for free because of all the right reasons. If I can be of help, just ask.
