Default Good morning from Australia

Hello, I'm Jean Morrison from Bunbury in the south west of Australia. I'm married with two teenage kids and I work from home. My business, Heritage Ceilings, involves creating decorative ceilings and you can see what I do by visiting heritageceilings.com.au. Weather here is pretty miserable today - very wet and cold. It's winter, so what do I expect ! Anyone with any questions about Australia can feel welcome to contact me.

Hi Jean, welcome aboard, have fun posting. Nice stuff on your site, we have just had to have the covings and ceiling roses re-produced for a Victorian house we bought. They cam along, took mouldings, and are reporducing them all for us.

re: your offer above. What happened in the Bledisloe Cup game? :-)

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. You had better not mention the "Bledisloe Cup" in this house Old Welsh Guy. My husband and son reckon the Pacific Islanders set it all up with their rough play. They demolished some of our best players with their rough tactics so that the Kiwis got it made for them for the next game. I think I better get off this subject and back to my ceilings.
Bye for now.

<OWG> Has been duly chastised and sulks off to sit in the corner without breakfast!

He also wonders how he is supposed to write out 1,000 times 'by hand' (whatever that means, where is the 'hand' key?)

Welcome to the Forum, Jean.

I think your business idea is great. The ceilings look great and I'm sure you should make lots of sales.

I hope I won't offend you, but let me give you a bit of feedback (which you didn't ask for and 'Help is defined by the Recipient'). When I hear Tin Ceilings, I instinctively think 'cheap'. Yet the effects you create are astounding. I wonder whether you're being too honest here. I might express it as being too product-driven rather than customer-centric. You're selling the final effect. How you get there could be your secret?

Perhaps I've given enough to suggest one person's reaction. If I'm going down a path you've explored already, well have a nice day anyway.
