Default Looking For A Team Name

Hello everyone,

I've just partnered with another real estate agent and we are both in our early 40's and are looking for a team name. A name thatís appealing.

Our last names are Burke and Kramer.

Your suggestions are very welcome and by the way, we live in Las Vegas.

Thanks so much.

Hm, I guess you had some ideas by yourself, but here are what I came to in just a few minutes:

B&K Las Vegas Real Estates
B&K Real Estates
BK Estates Broker
B&K Estate Broker
B&K Real Estate Agency Las Vegas
BK Real Estates Agency Las Vegas

The Third one is the best one, it sounds great...but it depends if you could really name it that way. If you get your full names in, it would not sound that good.

I believe you got the idea how to find a name. Good luck.

I suggest, use your own surnames. As you know, in Europe, surname in company name is recognized as proof of good tradition and responsibility. In real estates biz this values must be a foundation, musn't it? Anyway, customers should to belive this is truth . Your name is your honour. If I have to choose - Burke and Kramer or any enigmatic B&K, I always will choose Burke and Kramer. They could be my friends and advisors. Something like B&K could be my favorite corn flakes or beverage, but never trustworthy partner.

Using your names or some variation of your names is an easy solution... but what happens if the team changes? Maybe you add a third partner, or one of you leaves and the other takes on a new partner.

With any luck, it won't happen very often, but if you've spent a lot of time building up a brand, you might not want to change the business name because of a change in personnel. And it might be a little weird to have the name of somebody in the business name who isn't associated with the business any more, or to have two partners included but not the third.

So it might be helpful to plan for contingencies and select a name that would continue to work no matter who's involved in the team.

When most people elsewhere in the country think of Las Vegas they think of the casinos and resorts. Maybe you could come up with something using terms from gaming or gambling

One I came across was the parimutuel betting term "trifecta" -- which, according to Merriam Webster, is a "variation on the perfecta". Which sort of brings to mind "perfection" -- not a bad concept for your prospects to associate with your services.

It occurs to me "Perfecta Realtors" or "Perfecta Real Estate" might be a good name.

There are all kinds of other terms you could try on for inspiration:
Lucky Seven
Lady Luck
Aces High

Of course, I know there's a lot more to Las Vegas than the casinos. Maybe there's some local slang or terminology you could adapt?

Good luck on your name search!

Hi from a fellow Nevadan

I guess Lost Wages Real Estate isn't an option?

How about Winners Real Estate.
