Default Opinions On Business Name

Hi all. First off, please forgive me if this query finds itself in the wrong forum.

I'm having a very difficult time deciding on a business name. I've had a name "stuck" in my head for quite some time, and although I do like it, I'm wondering if I might have "blinders" on, which might be keeping me from selecting another name. It seems that any time I try and think up an alternative, I come up blank. Or at least not very original.

My business is a personal concierge service. As much as the idea of having a "catchy" or "fun play on words" seems appealing, I'm worried that I might pigeon hole myself. I'm looking to the future and do not want to limit myself to a specific market with my name. I'm hoping for something with a broader appeal.

Any how, the name I have chosen is Prestige Concierge. I like what the words 'prestige' conjures up mentally, and of course the word 'concierge' speaks to what my business is. I'd appreciate honest feedback and any other possible suggestions.

It's not often that I'm stuck for something to say that I'm really confident about (rightly or wrongly); but you managed it.

Conceptually the name seems fine to me - if you know what it actually represents.

I can't really picture what your service is, but then I doubt I'm your target audience. A combination of valet/personal secretary/holiday arranger? A Jeeves to someones Wooster?

So, assuming that your target audience knows what is meant by Concierge, when used in this way, then I would be happy with Prestige. Gives off an air of importance etc.

Basically your modern-day concierge is someone who can free-up some of your valuable time by performing every-day tasks for you. Errand service, shopping, house-hold, office help, etc. Basically anything that is legal and ethical. It's really only limited to one's imagination. On the corporate end of things it's a service that can be added to employee's benefit packages.

I do like the name, but am worried that it doesn't roll off the toungue all that easy. Suggestions are welcomed! As much as I like "catchy" names, I want to stay away from names that are too cutesy. After all, I'm trying to target professionals.

I like the name - it sums up exactly what the service does and seems quite catchy and professional.

Sounds good to me. Where are you from? Is it a small town or large city?

Naming a business could be a time consuming task, you have to consider a lot of things. You could also try using crowd sourcing websites like http://www.squadhelp.com to get business name ideas or suggestions.

I like the name.....almost.
I like the services offered BIG TIME!

The name sounds a little TOO big and undefined for me as an individual.....
What about Prestige Personal Concierge?

Now that seems to say you have an upscale ora for individuals.

I like the name, but I would suggest to make it just one word, or two words combined, something like that. Just an opinion. Thanks
