I don't know if there are many others but I can tell you from my own experience that PayPal is a very good, safe service. I wouldn't use a second row service to manage my money online. PayPal's commissions are definitely well spent

Venmo is one example. What exactly are you trying to do?

Stripe is also a good PayPal alternative. Their fee structure is a lot simpler than PayPal's but it depends on what functionality and volume you do.

Paypal is alright with me. Easy to use and charges are reasonable. If you are looking for an alternative for personal use, I could recommend Trasferwise or Paysera - both offer really rapid transfers and also low charges.

No one can really compare with Paypal. Things like Stripe, Braintree, Square... all just fulfill a single function while Paypal takes care of them all. Heck, I've seen Paypal accepted at a couple drug stores.

In terms of sending money using email as an ID, you can also look at these:

Square Cash
Google Wallet
Dwolla

Payoneer and Scrill is also most familiar as like Paypal. But Paypal is the best as low cost , easy and quick.

PayPal is a good online payment service. It is easy to use and a comparatively protected way to transfer cash online. But if you donít want to use PayPal then there are many alternatives for PayPal, you can use one of them. They work same as PayPal:
Venmo.
Amazon WebPay.
Google Checkout.
Skrill / Moneybookers.
2Checkout.
