Direct mail can be more effective because there is less competition. Some think Internet marketing is the only way to go, but in most cases a combination of offline and internet marketing works best.

Yesterday, i attended a webinar on social media, and it shared a study by an independent market research company, they observed increase in the number of users opening email through tablets and smartphones.

This in way indicates email marketing is back in the game and will once again emerge as good source of generating quality leads.
