Default Website Maintenance

Hello Friends,

Want to know how to manage downtime during site maintenance. How to tell both humans and robots that its only a temporary shutdown. Any suggestion. Thanks in advance

Great info here that answers your question.

It looks like a 503 page is what you need to alert robots and a simple HTML page should do for alerting human visitors. If you use Wordpress, you can get a plugin that is a simple on/off switch to make website active or under construction.

Search engine optimization is an integral part of online marketing strategy and website maintenance is the key to the process. More appealing web pages and keywords were necessary to encourage search engine to rank their websites and look positively on their optimization work.

The new trend in website maintenance will not take place on your website. But additional resources are added to complete the maintenance work. Populate the social media accounts at least once in a week if it is not possible regularly. The best idea is to start with an effective marketing strategy that will quantify the level of participation and plan resources in the same way.
