Yes, Google Analytics is the tools to find out your website visitor.

Besides Google Analytics, there are many free as well as paid tools for tracking website visitors. Here is a complete list - http://blog.woorank.com/2014/07/10-w...gle-analytics/

In the same post, it is quoted that "Also, ever since the not provided count has been increasing and Google is expected to have 100 percent encryption of its organic search keyword data. Also, there are rumors that Google Analytics may stop being free. Even if the rumors are not true, it is always better to have a backup and not rely on Google Analytics alone."

So in the future, we have to switch to other option instead of Google Analytics.

Yes, you can try Gostats. It's free & helps you to track traffic, visitors details in a real time. It utilize heatmaps on weekly, monthly, yearly basis which is easy to understand.
