Default Top Ten eBook Mistakes and How to Correct Them

Judy Cullins gives some pointers on how to getting your e-Book right.

"Your e-Book needs to be more concise, easy-to-read, and compelling than your print book. That means you can shorten your analogies and stories. You can use a "success format" that poses a question (a heading) your reader wants answered, then answer it. This formula gets to the point quickly, and always remember, your Online audience is busy and doesn't want a wordy style."

I don't know about this. Most e-books are downright fluffy, lack content, have wide margins, large line-spacing, big font, etc. It appears the author just wants to claim it's 100 pages, or 200 pages or whatever when, in reality if it were in a real printed format, it'd hit 40-50 pages.

I'd like to see a high-quality e-book that provides some killer content, doesn't have spelling errors, is written logically, is the worth the money the author charges for it. Those are few and far between.
