Why do you ask?
Im planning to implement goal tracking for one of my clients, so I would like to track the visits from an email and subsequent registration as a goal.
It would be like this First step-> visit from a tagged URL-> second step-> registration page->third step-> thank you page.
While setting the goal funnel for the above, I would like to enter the tagged URL as the landing page or first page in the funnel followed by the "Required" option in GA.
But as you can guess, there can be registrations through the same path even when a person visits the site directly or from any other source other than the emails. So i want to exclude these registrations and if GA is smart enough to consider the tagged and the original URL as separate ones, I'd be able to get a more refined report.
Hope you understand.
