I've heard this Rescue Time service. It's downloaded on the user's computer and "time" how long he/she works. I'm not sure if this i the appropriate software for you. But who knows.

Monitoring your employees is not the best thing to do but if you need to nail the non-performers,you can try out Replicon,Tenrox Timesheet or BillQuick who have excellent apps for this. They have time-tracking features that help you track and coordinate projects and monitor employee hours. You can also manage sick leave, vacation time, overtime and holidays as well as other additional activities like presentations, meetings and projects.

Hey! my team and I have developed a solution for this business problem. I will not post the link because I do not want to spam the forum, but I can assure you that this is a good approach. You deserve to see how your employees spend time. Using this type of software will improve business inefficiencies and help you make more money.

Simple project management tool integrated with time tracking is the best solution, because you have everything you need to track time and task in one tool. You can administrate projects (create tasks, checklist, attach files, ascribe employees to task, measure level of progress) and track time of each task at once, with no special operating processes, quickly and easily.
