Default 3 Ways To Be A Better Coach To Your Employees

A great leader or business owner not only knows how to run his company, but he is also a great motivator and coach to his employees. Think about it – your business is only as good as the contribution made by your employees and you are only as good as the value you can get from your employees. That is why coaching and motivating your employees to bring out the maximum potential from them is one of the most important jobs of any leader.

The problem is not every leader is a born coach. There are those who are natural at bringing out the best from others and there are others who make employees run away from them. With little help and determination it is possible for a leader to improve his coaching skills. All you need is to put yourself in your employees’ shoes. When it comes to your employees, it is important to understand them first before assigning them any task. Know their capabilities and teach them to work as a team. Maintain a positive and friendly environment always.

I completely agree with you, it's very important to motivate and train the employees. Motivation encourages employees to improve their performance. And being a coach your work is to get your work done from employees, so it's also important to have a good relationship with them. The above link is really very helpful to become a good coach.

I believe that allowing your employees the chance to develop is an important feature of a great motivator - particularly in terms of recognising skills which may be outwith their current job role and allowing them the opportunity to explore their full potential. Freedom to develop is important.

A motivated work force is the key to customer satisfaction and better productivity. Check out companies like Piterion and Sony. They try to keep their staff motivated and positive and this is why they are market leaders in their resp indistries.

Coaching your employees is important. You should involve your employees in the process, motivate employees with a compelling mission and vision, build relationships that create trust, open dialogue, and full transparency.
