Default Doing your homework in sales

This is a quick to the point article about sales. This guy really does do his homework to make a sale. He learns as much as he can about the company but what he is really after is finding as much about the client that he can. Okay salespeople, is this something that you do? I'm really curious to know.

Smile Sales Techniques

One of the best things I have learned in sales is that knowledge is power. The more you know the better off your are in believing what you do. It is not particularly knowing more about the people you're selling to, but finding out about a need. If your product does not offer a need, then other tactics are used to ' make a need ' I have been in sales now for over a year and quite frankly, I don't have to work as hard in selling because I know that I fill a need.
