Default Any one tried Constant Contact?

I am thinking about trying out Constant Contact for email marketing. Has anyone tried this service and what are your experiences with it?

Hi P. Page,

I can't say that I've used it, although most reviews I've seen are favorable.

What I can say is that I do receive some newsletters, etc... powered by Constant Contact. I don't think I've ever had a problem with a broken link, problem going through or anything else. If I do decide to do some email marketing, that will probably be the first program I'll check out.

I use CC and love it. I highly recommend it. It is easy to use and very affordable. What I especially like about it is the ability to see who reads your newsletters and who doesn't as well as the ease for subscribers to sign up.

I use Savicom right now and I find it to be very slow loading anything and pretty expensive. I just did a quick check of Constant Contact and found the pricing is so much more inexpensive...

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the two (if any)?

Quick Note: I move Patti's question about getting new subscribers to its own thread here:

Now back to the Constant Contact/Savicom/etc. conversation...

Default excellent service

I've used Constant Contact for a couple of clients for the past two years and have to say they are an excellent service. In the past 6 months they have added a number of new tracking features that really improved overall campaign management. You can't beat the price either.

It depends how much money you have. I think they're really expensive.

Besides, I've given up on HTML newsletters, many people are scared of them now (with reason). I put newsletters online these days and email out in text to my subscribers, letting them know what's in the letter and the link

Thumbs up

Hi, everyone!

I've used CC for the last 4 months and I think it's great. The charges are based on your subscriber list which you can edit and revise as needed. There is also a free trial for up to 100 subscribers. I don't know if it has a time limit or not, but it was enough to convince me that it was a good fit for me.

The monthly fee is nomimal, about $6.00/month. I have nothing but good things to say about the program, but, like any other marketing program, you have to use it. It won't work with you working it!

Hope this helps!
