For event marketing adwords gives you better results.

So, a broad brush answer doesn't apply.

Hi Tom,

Where do you go to comment on others blogs? Also is there a signature that is allowed or something? I never have understood this part of the social marketing.

some blogs are do follow and can give a backlink to your website, and also it allows you to gain friends only if you are leaving useful comments that were relevant to the blog entry.

There is so much that goes into making a sale.
First you (Have) to know your target audience:
If you don't you have lost from the start.

Second You (Have) to decide are you looking for many sales
or one? Most of course are looking for many. In this case you have to make a connection. Therefore, using some social type of communication other than a webpage and advertising places
This is where the social networks and forums and such come into play. This way you connect with actual people who have many friends and that's what you want.

Classifieds and Traffic Exchanges, and safe list type ads are okay and do work but chances are slim. The ones listed above are what I think are some of the best. (This of course is just my opinion) Good luck just don't ever give up!!!

All that stuff can be effective and you probably should dabble in most of it.

My priority is social media at the moment. Agree with know your target audience, then just go after them relentlessly.
