JaronS Member Join Date: Nov 2011 Posts: 1	Starting Political Commentary Website Hi, I'm starting a political commentary website, and will soon have a nightly radio broadcast to go with it. I will not be selling anything at first, and my revenue will be straight from advertisers. I have a few questions. 1. What taxes will I have to pay by selling ad space? 2. Do I need a business bank account for advertisers to take me seriously, or will my personal account suffice? 3. I've heard a lot about ad sense. Do they register every hit you get on your website, or just the hit from a google search? 4. Do I need a business license? 5. Even if there is no business tax, I will still have to claim on my income tax correct? I know you guys aren't tax lawyers, but any help is greatly appreciated. Just wanna make sure I don't have the damn IRS knocking at my door.
