Question Price And Quality Problem

I work in a medical equipment company. The company has two products. One product is low quality and cheaper and the other one is high quality and more expensive. My duty in the company is to promote (advertise) and sell these two products to new customers, but I am having trouble doing this task. The problem is that when I introduce the low quality product to customers then they say this product quality is low and the don't purchase the product and on the other hand when I introduce the high quality product to customers then they say this product is good but it is expensive and they don't purchase the product too. Therefore, I can't neither sell the low quality nor the high quality products to new customers. The key question is that how can I sell these two products to new customers?

Instead of trying to sell your products, you should try to understand what your customers need and what is their budget and then propose a solution that involve one of your products.

Is the bad quality of the cheaper product really this easy to see? Or are you honest and tell customers it's of poor quality? There must be a way to somehow introduce those products otherwise. I'll try to help you but I need a little bit more information.

I tell the customers that the cheaper product has poor quality.

Well, then, it's no wonder you're having trouble selling the product. As a salesperson, you shouldn't be disparaging your own products! Certainly you don't want to lie, but to go around telling prospective customers that your own product is of poor quality is certainly going to kill your sales.

If you want to continue selling these products, you need to figure out what's good about them -- why prospective customers would want to buy them. If you honestly can't think of a reason why someone would want the product, if you can't think of anything good about it, then perhaps you should look for another job. Find something to sell that you can feel good about.
