If you are using MS Word 2007 right click the desired word and select hyperlink then the insert hyperlink window will appear you could put the URL in the address and then click Ok. After that try clicking on the word and check if you will be directed to the URL you have provided.

Hi Tylex,

You first have to make sure you are in a squidoo module that allows HTML.

Most modules allow it and it is best to just test it on your own.

Paste your article into the module and then add the proper hyperlink HTML tags:

A sample is here:

<a href="http://www.domain.com">This Is The Text Tylex Wants Linked</a>

You replace the above website with the one you want linked and the text is the part of the article's words you want to show up as hyperlink.

I think <a href="http://www.example.com">keyword</a> will solve your problem on squidoo. I agree with daveb1.

Just make yourself familiar with HTML/CSS codes. It is a must in creating a link. And as an SEO you must have it with you.

You need to study a little bit of HTML if you want to be a successful SEO Consultant.

A lot of websites are like Squidoo when it comes to using HTML and CSS. If there is no "link" icon at the Page Body section, it's usually going to be an HTML work to get you the link you want.

It might feel tedious at first but it won't be as you get used to it. Or! you can just put in the notepad the templates for links so you'll just have to edit it every time you're building a backlink. Cheers.
