So how have we connected in the past. I advertising in trade magazines, send direct emails to prospects and gain placement under keywords but these methods are not fast enough.
I have pitched it in person to a couple people and funny to find that people are actually quite suspect.
I am thinking about a social strategy ... maybe a contest who creates the most business listings I give the top 5 producers a $200 Amex card every 30 days.
I kind-of have a chicken and the egg scenario... I need businesses listings before I will generate projects.
Target is also "Services" not "goods/products". painters, electricians, lawyers, anyone that provides the service. I am not looking for stores retail, movie theaters, etc.
I bought a list of 2.5 million businesses but I am not very excited about the data. I suspect that its old and not very relevant.
