May be your competitor is doing SEO more aggressively than you.

Hi, it could be lots of things.

Firstly, if you are not adding content to your website regularly and your competitors are then Google may favor them.

Secondly, if you have not been building backlinks on a regular basis and they have then Google may also favor them.

If your onpage SEO is not up to scratch then Google may penalize you.

If there are duplicate content issues or site structure issues then Google may also penalize you.

My advice would be to run your site through a number of different SEO checkers and try to get a broad idea of where the issues may lie. You should also check your backlinks to determine whether your competitors are using negative SEO to push you down the rankings.

Do you have page load issues? Is your site responsive and does it show well on mobile? Is it easy to navigate and does it foster long engagement?

All of this things matter alot more than they did in the past. If your experience is poor and the site doesn't work well on mobile and you are suffering a high bounce/return rate, it can be a problem.

Have you updated your content recently (big changes) to keep it fresh?

All things to consider...

Negative seo is common these days. Competitors will try to break your site down by building poor backlinks to your site. Do a backlink check/audit and disavow those poor links.

There are lots of factors to be considered.
.Too many crawl error
.website responsive or not
.Content in your webpage original or not
.how aggressively your competitior is doing SEO

Or at last it might be google dance.
