Default Post Card Printing

What do you guys think is the effect of postage increase in Post Card printing market. It should drop! but it went up when the postage rate was increased in the past.

It could also be a knock on effect from the recession, where some people are desperately trying to keep their company afloat and marketing, while others are cutting back on their spending, which is bound to have a knock on effect in the print industry.

Smart business owners will increase advertising during tough economic times because their competition is cutting back. Post cards are still a better deal than letters because of postage and being seen more often by the customer.

I agree with jrobconsult, with postcards, these are immediately noticed by the recipients. No need to open envelopes before you get to the message. A good call-to-action message, a promo, an exclusive special offer, will definitely make the reader attracted.
Indeed there are many companies that are cutting back on postcards advertising, but there are also some who are taking this as an opportunity to tackle the market by continuously using the strategy. People will appreciate getting a well-designed postcard on a nice paper stock, especially since they know it probably cost more than other advertising media.

I agree. The 'immediacy' of the postcard is very important. When a person sees it in the pile of mail, it is immediately noticeable.

I hear your comments, but I thing there is a middle point where every business must dedicate some effort & money to offline & online advertising. If the printed post card can be mixed with a coupon & the offer is good, i think it will work.

Hi fellows:
Yes i agree that post card printing is very useful in the advertisement and marketing process. Although it is an old strategy yet it can be adopted to increase the volume of sale of business by the entrepreneurs. Its nice to share my ideas.
Thanks!

Agreed that Postcards are a viable advertising medium but don't forget about message and recipients. A poorly crafted message to the right audience is just as bad as a great offer to the wrong audience. Take care to make sure you are targeting your intended audience with the right message as well.
