Default it's not a scam

I joined Salehoo when I first started selling online (Feb. '07) and I think it is a pretty straight deal: You get access to a directory with thousands of suppliers and their contact info... and the forums are pretty active, for when you have questions or need feedback about a certain product or wholesaler.

Pros: It saved me a lot of time and headaches with the info and the community feedback on the good and bad suppliers. Cons: I wasn't that impressed with the "market research lab" and some of the extra bonus features.

Overall: I think it is worth it for new sellers and those looking to expand their supply network without wasting time or $$$.

(I'd be curious to hear about other sites, though...)

It's really helpful if you use it appropriately!

Well, the thread is a bit dated, but I'll add a bit.

There are over 20,000 wholesalers and dropshippers available through this site. No scammers, all good resources. www.wholesalesourcesdirectory.com

I agree Salehoo is a good place but there info is not updated and for the money there are much better places that offer more.

I am just starting to sell on ebay and have been wondering
myself about Salehoo.

From what I can tell, it seems like a great place for
noobs starting on ebay.

Thanks for the info!

I like Salehoo too. But you will need to dig deeper in order to
find a quality supplier. I used some dhgate suppliers with mixed
success. Make sure you protect yourself during transactions - pay
with credit cards and never with wires or western union type of deal.
Also specify everything - sizes , colors , quality. Once you ll find a great
supplier-enjoy the ride!

Salehoo is ok but I don't use it much. Try to find suppliers at alibaba.com. But they usually do wholesales, that's what I do, I buy wholesale in very low prices and sell it on Ebay in a higher price.

Salehoo is legitamite but you're better off trying to find your own suppliers/dropshippers as alot of other people have signed up for salehoo and are selling the same product, probably a few people in fact.
