Question PLEASE Give Me Feedback On My Door Hangers!

OK, Im going to try door hangers for my sewer business but I do not have any marketing experience. From the info Ive collected on this site I feel I have covered most of the bases for creating a good AD but I definatly would like some feedback before I go printing thousands!

I would replace the headline of "FREE GAS CARD" to something else.

I would put the "When was the last time your sewer was cleaned" at the top of the ad, and move the "FREE GAS CARD" to the bottom as an incentive of what they will get from doing business with you.

If you have a website, list it in your ad too, since different people will want to respond in different ways.

And, if you do have a website, why not also include a QR code linking to a mobile friendly page on your site?

I would take out the Free Gas Card also. Not sure about the message on your flyers. Are you giving this to home owners who use septic tanks? If this service is a preventative measure then you should explain in bullet points the benefits of using your service ( i.e prevent overflow of sewage into the basement, clean pipe drains leading out to the sewer, etc).

You also need a call to action. For instance you should say " Call us now for a free quote" or " Call us now to see if your sewer lines are in jeopardy of backing up". Give people a good reason to call you.

Without explaining your benefits in a clear concise manner where people will understand what you do, it will not be as effective.

I might start it with "Who wants poop in their tub?" Then follow with "Maintaining your sewer system will keep your tub squeaky clean. Why take chances? Get your system cleaned today for only $xx"

I've had sewer problems before and they are NO fun! That first question creates a vivid visual that anyone who has experienced sewer problems can relate to. You want to find your prospects fear / pain and be the solution.
