Default How To Advertise My Product?

Apart from Twitter, which are the other places where i can promote my product to a large audience? Where else can i submit my blogs and memes so that it reaches a large audience?

Nowadays, there's no better way to advertise your product than using Instagram.
Everybody's obsessed with this service right now. So there are large audiences to reach by promoting your brand.
You just need to learn how to use it properly.

There's no point to hammer any social media (no matter how big it is) if there's no one from your target audience. You have to change your approach. Who's your target audience? If your answer is everybody, then narrow it down to who might benefit from your application the most?

Is it for men, women? Is it for teenagers, employed people, entrepreneurs, stay at home moms, professional drivers, people getting married, ...? What is their mindset or beliefs?

The more focused you get, the easier it is to find where these people hang out and then talk to them. And the less competition you'll have. Don't worry you're limiting the number of people you might reach. You can always step back, pick another group of your target audience and focus on them.

If you shared more about your product, we might be able to help you more.

You can use Pintrest, Facebook, Instagram, Flickr for product promotions.
Make Facebook page, join related community and post regularly to engage with people.
You can make blog in WordPress, Tumblr, Weebly or blogspot.

Make Facebook page, join related community and post regularly it. You can also make blog in free WordPress or blogspot.

Social networks help but only if you've already taken the time to establish each of those networks organically. This means building a network of influencers who are willing to share your updates with their following.

The same goes for blogging - you need to outreach, linkbuild, and establish connections with other bloggers in similar fields.

As others have mentioned, there are many other social networks to promote your blogs, but without first building a network around those who care about your product, you're going to have a hard time utilizing the potential of social networking.

Arrow Get your audience targeting right first

Nath is 100% correct — the most important (and urgent) task you need to address is identifying your precise target market and how to best reach them.

After an advertising workshop I presented a few years ago I had one man approach me for advice: he owned a business that manufactured modular, galvanised steel buildings. His target market was basically threefold:
  • Farmers (for farm sheds)
  • Home owners (for garages and workshops)
  • Small businesses (for small factories and warehouses)

He was advertising every week in a prominent weekly newspaper that targeted two adjoining states. This newspaper was distributed in rural towns and to farmers. (Most farmers were subscribers.)

He ran a small display advertisement that targeted all three target markets. The ad was not working very well.

I suggested a simple strategy…
  • Create three separate ads, each one targeting only ONE of his three target markets.
  • Run the ads in a 3-week cycle for 3 cycles (9 weeks).
  • Track responses to each individual ad. (Separate URLS on his website.)
  • Check which ad produced the best response, then run that ad every second week, with the other two alternating, in a 4-week cycle for 3 months (12 weeks).
  • Track responses to all ads to check (a) which of the other two ads produced a better response, (b) whether the ad running twice in each cycle continued to produce good results.
  • Watch for seasonal variations and adjust the ads accordingly.
  • Adjust the frequency of each ad — and the length of the cycle — as required.
  • Continue testing and monitoring for at least a year.

His turnover increased by more than 1,100% over the next 12 months, despite NO increase in his ad spend.

Think carefully how you can apply the lessons from this in your own business.
