Default A tip for those that sell Ads on their site or in their newsletter...

I buy Ad Spots from time to time - generally in ezines/newsletters that are highly targeted to the offer I am promoting.

This week I ran an ad in a particular ezine, and the following day I received an email (from a lady who had a similar site/list) with an advertising offer. Since I am always on the lookout for these specific publications, I found this very helpful (save me the trouble - make me an offer!). I've added her to my database, and will be testing the promo with her list.

I know what you're thinking - she's going behind the back of her competition to solicit ad sales. That's true, to a point. However, she's doing me a huge service, as I'm obviously one to advertise to that market. It doesnt mean I wont continue to advertise with the current list-owner, just: in addition to it.

It's not always easy for advertisers to locate good advertising deals, with the right targeted market - - make it easy on them by finding THEM and making them an offer!

You would think this wouldn't be the case with the zillions of sites and newsletters, but you are so right. I spend a ton of time trying to find reasonably priced advertising that hits the correct target audience.
