Default Need To Send Large Media Files? Here's A Free Solution

Businesses of all types regularly have the need to send large files such as digital images, audio, video, pdf’s & more. In business, simply sending confidential and vital information to a recipient's email address can be risky.

You may never know who had access to the information or that your intended recipient ever even received it as they may not have the capability to retrieve it due to email system limitations.

And many of us dabble online with photos, audio, video and the like for our own personal enjoyment. If you experience limitations when sharing these with friends and family - there is now a solution that integrates into Outlook, Photoshop, PaperPort, and more. Now there’s no need to leave your normal desktop applications environment to send or receive files.

On the Small Business Trends Radio Show, our featured guest recently was Ranjith Kumaran, the Founder of YouSendIt. Ranjith sat for a half hour audio interview that explored the service in detail. The audio podcast is free to listen to via the computer or download to your iPod. Just click the link above to read more or listen to the full interview.

I've used the services myself and I must say that I am very impressed. It allows me to receive large video files from a friend some 1500 miles away of home videos of camping trips and special moments. Video that, otherwise, I would not have the capability to retrieve. I will now be using it for photos and the like as I am able to store them there and also pick and choose which of my recipients views and receives which of my files.

So if it's necessary for small business or if you just like to share personal moments with friends and family - it's a valuable service and best of all it's free. To learn more, click here.

I found this interview very useful. I never knew services like this existed. I liked hearing that you get an email confirmation when the file is opened. I hate sending information to someone then wondering for days if they saw it or even if it ever reached them.

I have been using YouSendit for almost a year now and love it. My son living out of state sends large video files, his way of letting me know how things are going. If you haven't tried YouSendit, you won't be disappointed when you do. Very easy to use.
