You haven't given us enough information to work with. Answer these questions:

1. What kind of business is it?
2. What is the level of competition you face?
3. What are you currently doing to promote your business?
4. What is your budget for advertising and promotion?
5. How much time do you have available to work on building the business?

Default Is it mobile friendly?

If not, you have to make sure that it is. Your mobile page should only have the most important information and can be read easily without the visitor having to zoom in to read the texts.

If you are not ready for that and prefer to work on your website right now, you need to work on SEO to push it on top of the search engines. If you are using Wordpress, get SEO by Yoast, it will guide you to make sure that your website goes up the rank.

Quickest way for you to generate inquiries is by advertising. Try Google adwords and you will get instant results.

Also have you done local seo?
I would suggest that for you second.

Put up ads online and send emailers as part of Digital Marketing. This will help you reach out to many customers at a very short time and receive good responses.

There are many useful posts here! I'm going to start my business, and I've already decided to use one of the wordpress car tuning portal themes for my website creation. But I'm clueless about marketing. I know a lot of people start with using social media for this purpose, so I think I should do the same way. But it's now enough, so thanks for sharing your experience, guys!

The less amount of inquiries will be the result of a fewer customers. Expand your business by giving advertisement in social media. Also optimize your website by using some SEO and some other techniques to make your company to be listed in good position on google index. Plan for some offer and make it public. Piterion can support you with good optimization techniques.

I agree with all of the other members that shared their thoughts about this. I myself experienced the same situation when I was helping my sister's business to have an online presence. I learned that most people have the thinking that if you don't have any online presence, there's a greater chance that your business doesn't exist or is not legit. Therefore, it would be best to take the time to develop your marketing strategies. Try SEO, social media or even email marketing. Good luck!
