Default Paypal Virtual Terminal Alternatives

I've been using PayPal's Virtual Terminal for a few years, but the recent price increase for the Pro version of their service is too expensive. I only use Virtual Terminal, so it's a little over kill. Has anyone used any other services that are similar to Virtual Terminal? Is there another company that offers just a terminal without all of the other features I don't need?

First of all, you get a virtual terminal with all gateways. There are many merchant accounts in the $ 20 per month range that include a virtual terminal.

You can also check ProPay. They have an online deal for $ 35.95 per year, with rates around 3.5%. Higher fees, but no other charges, just $ 3 per month average.

The key with PayPalPro is to offset your costs by signing for their 1% purchasing bonus and the money market. With those two things my payments were offset by almost $1800 last year.

I have been very happy with Authorize.net and their virtual terminal. Low monthly fees also, I'm sure less than Pay Pal.

Yes, authorize.net fees are a lot less than paypal.

If you're interested, I can show you a demo account on how the virtual terminal works. It's pretty simple - they do have lots of other options as well if you decide to need them in the future.

IE recurring billing, shopping cart, check processing, customer contact manager, etc.
