Default QuickBooks?

I'm using QuickBooks Desktop right now. What do you all think of QuickBooks Online?

It has benefits and drawbacks. The biggest benefit is you can access from anywhere. When we access clients' online QuickBooks and make changes we know the changes have been entered correctly. When we just send clients a list of changes, they almost never enter them correctly.
However, I much prefer the user interface of PC based QuickBooks to the online version.

I see benefit to both and it really depends on what works best for the individual, but I would say that the QuickBooks desktop version is definitely the better option. Compared to QBO it has more features, is more cost efficient, and does not have to rely on internet connection.

It provides business owners with a convenient remote access option, so you can log in to your QuickBooks account from any web browser and that gives you powerful access to information on the go.

Both have their own pros and cons. If you want to access your QuickBooks 24x7 then QuickBooks Online is important. However, this can be fulfilled with the hosting your QuickBooks Desktop in the cloud with an authorized service provider such as AceCloudHosting or using tools like GopToMyPC. Also, there are many features in QuickBooks desktop such as statement writer, progressive invoicing that are still not available in QBO.If you are considering move to the QBO, make sure to take a trial first and judge on the basis of features, ease and your requirements.

Hope it would help you,

I personally like the online version. Being able to access it from anywhere comes in handy. It's a lot easier than having to save your QB file to a USB stick to bring to your accountant.
