For instance, if you have employees, you might need accounting software that either includes payroll capabilities or that integrates easily with your existing payroll service provider or software. If you're a sole proprietor, not so much.
If your business is project-oriented, you might want job costing functionality. But if you're retailing physical products you purchase ready-made from elsewhere (or even drop-shipping), then job costing wouldn't do you much good.
