Default Golf Related Ideas

After joining today and reading alot of the great advice from everyone, I was wondering if anyone could give me some inspiration regarding golf ideas.

I live in San Diego, college-educated and have been performing general accounting for 12 years now. I've worked mainly for small businesses, thus worn MANY hats i.e. accounting, HR, safety, payroll, etc .... I have held a tax preparer license before but I am NOT interested in doing that again.

Throughout this whole site the word "passionate" is prevalent. Currently, my passion is truly golf. I simply love the game! I do have an idea for a golf scoring contraption but looking for other options, as well.

Any help or inspiration is appreciated!!!

one time I was golfing with my dad and two other men we got paired up with in california. They were talking about the idea to create a business that sells tee-times. They said it was nearly impossible to get a tee-time within two weeks in the area we were playing (palm springs...i think). anyways they had the idea to call around and reserve the prime time tee-times a couple months in advance, and then turn around and sell them when all the other times are booked. i dont know how well this would actually work out, but seeing that we had to book our time close to three weeks in advance i guess it could work.
good luck.

Hi there,

How about golf club making? You can take courses through www.golfsmith.com and learn how.

Other idea - have an online store and sell golf products - either wholesale to retail or affiliate products.

maybe custom putting greens (i.e. office/home) and backyard putting greens w/ landscaping etc - you can design and install and from what I've seen sell for more than a bit.

Welcome aboard

like you, golf is a passion for me too..

Im currently looking at buying wholesale golf items such as clubs & balls than selling them on Ebay. golfing memorabilia also sells well online.
