Hosting Companies: Are You Happy With Yours?

I am using Godaddy and have not had a problem with hosting at all. I used HostGator for a few small niche websites and had all types of problems. A lot of time with hosting you get what you pay for so when you are paying $15 for a year of web hosting you might as well expect some problems in most cases.

Funny. Over the years my clients have tons of problems with GoDaddy, but I have had not a single issue with HostGator. I guess hosting companies either go up or down over the years, and you just never know

I hope your list includes 1and1. I have several sites with them and I've been very pleased. Tech support has always solved any problems very efficiently, and I love how quickly my sites load.

Sorry...1and1 didn't make the cut. That doesn't mean it's not a solid company. It simply means there were other hosting companies that people liked better.

I use GD and have never had any issues except their networking seems to go goofy at times and DNS gets lost once in awhile.
Their cheap service is slow as expected but my dedicated server has "served" me well
Once I got it configured correctly of course.
My next step will be co-locating a server of my own. I live close to Chicago and the competition is fierce for this. So prices have dropped significantly. It is Almost cheaper than my current dedicated server.

Would like to share on my experience...
I use Canaca and never had any problems with it. Very convenient, good support. Some of my clients also use it and didn't have any negative experience. The only thing is that few times it took a bit longer then was told to set up, so here was a little of a wait in the beginning.

Thanks for your input! I apologize for not responding sooner. But I've been busy with my new "customer reviews" site. Unfortunately, personally verifying hundreds of customer reviews/testimonials is super labor intensive. But it's a necessary evil, if my website is to have any credibility.

I'll be sure to let everyone know when my site goes live. Won't be long now.
