Default How Much Should I Charge For Pay Per Click Advertising With My Website?

I usually charge $100 a month -flat rate- on my website for advertising. I currently have a client that wants pay per click. I have no problem tracking the clicks- but I am not sure what a fair rate is- or if there is a customary range depending on your site's street cred.

fair rate should be compromise with quality traffic that you could bring with your PPC campaign.I think 20% from all PPC budget is fair and additionally if you have Google adwords professional certificate that will be plus.more over, I think it will bring trust as well for your client to give you higher budget for his/her PPC marketing.

I don't there would a limit for your PPC campaigns. It all depends on your budgets. It would cost you a lot if you are on a hot niche. So, be cautious and tactical in performing PPC campaigns.

Have a nice day,

There is no proper rate for the pay per click.
You should check your local market about that matter.

I think that fair click rate should be the calulation 100/clicks per month. This way you will find how much a click worth with the value of $100 monthly and decide how much a click should be cost.

I think Danielle77 is on to something, if you figure the average cost per click now charging that for a ppc campaign shouldn't cause your client to get upset

yes i guess you would need to do a study first to determine how much you'll be able to charge for the ppc.

Depends on how many visitors you have on your site and what the relevance of the website is to the advertiser.
