Default Blog Commenting Issues

As you all know blog commenting is one of the technique in SEO for ranking a site in search engines. But not all the comments are approved and shown. It is sent for moderation and it is relevant to the post, after that only the comment will be lived to the blog post.

I have a doubt in blog commenting, whether to place a name or keyword in the name section while commenting. Since i have read in a article that we can go for name instead of keyword as to get approval. But will name in the link of my site help in ranking the keywords.?

In my opinion Comment on others blog called Blog commenting. It improves your knowledge. It also drives traffic and brings quality backlinks.

Yes it can help you in your ranking but you should not use your name in every comment. Actually you should mix up it i mean sometimes use your keyword and sometimes use your name.

Great idea, mixing and matching is the way when it comes to blog commenting. There are very few blogs that are actually moderated by owners, using names in such cases will be a better option. Blogs that have programs monitoring comments, keywords can be used here.

Good advice to mix it up. Try a key word - if that does not get posted - try your name and see which one works.
Also, when posting comments - add something to the conversation. I hate getting comments on my blogs that state the same generic thing like "I found your blog and will link to it and check it often - keep up the great work" - This is not a comment. Try to add something to the conversation - if you add value, it should not matter to the host if you use your name or key word.

I am sorry if bursting the bubble here, but these techniques are far out of date. Google got rid of much of the value of links with Panda, and has reduced the values of backlinks even more with the release of Penguin.

Your best results will come from having quality content on the page. Most of what you've described above will literally just cause you to waste your time. Hopefully that is useful!

Default Blog Comment name approval

Nice thread, I have faced the same issue and my many comments were not approved. Still I never been assured that the comments will be approved by the keywords.

If we will post the comment with the keyword, that would definitely help my site to improve the search engine visibility. But first to understand why the blogger would remove the comment, what if he/she thinks.. you are commenting to get a backlink for you website/blog. He/she isn't wrong and why would blogger should share the link juice with your website.

Right now, what I do:
> I try to engage the blogger through nice and instinctual conversation along with real life example and for this I invest some time.
> I try to understand the topic and the intention about the articles. If I'm not aware of the topic, I do google, read some more posts relevant to the topic.
According to the recent search and knowledge, I post my comment.

Please let me know, if I'm doing right.

Yes, after the recent Google panda and penguin algorithm the backlinks from less quality content will not help any more in ranking a site in search engines.

How to get backlinks from sites that are related to our niche.?

According to my experience there is not a big issue for blog commenting you just comments on authorized sites and do relevant comments.
