I absolutely agree with putting a great emphasis on improving customer experience. Building relationships with consumers works best for sales and marketing. Customers base their buying decisions on how pleasant the experience is with the brand or company they're with or plan on purchasing from.
I'd like to add that it's imperative that business should not only invest in proper training and education but technology as well. I've mentioned this a bunch of times. Find a reliable CRM, get hooked up with a dependable phone system, get an email marketing system into the equation. And integrate these indispensable systems
using a CTI like Tenfold. I'm pretty sure utilizing every applicable technology at your disposable can benefit your team.
