I was talking to a division manager of one of our divisions. He just bought a house out in the country (more peaceful) and wanted to open a branch office there there. He's in his late 50's or early 60's now and had plan on working for another ten years. Then he wanted to open up his own offices.
I was like, "wow! you must love your job and plan on working forever!"
His respone, "I don't have a choice. The stock market killed my nest egg. The values of my rental properties have dropped. I have to keep working to maintain my lifestyle"
I don't see how any of us will be able to afford to retire unless we have our own business (cashflow) coming in. And, if you don't already have a brick and mortar business, than the web is your only other option
